Admission
Children can be admitted to the pre-school following their 2nd birthday, or at any time after this that is right for your child and yourself.
We have a criteria that we follow for admissions to Holmer Green pre-school:
- Chronological age
- Early application for a place
- How many children are already on the register
- How many under 3’s are on the register
- We are required to maintain our adult-to-child ratios at all times
Sessions
Five sessions a week are available from 9.15am to 12.15pm.
For new or younger children you may wish to consider the option of beginning with a 2 hour session from 9.15am - 11.15am.
The governments Early Education Funding scheme for 3 and 4 year olds means that if your child turns 3 before:
- 31st December – funded entitlement will commence in the following January
- 31st March – funded entitlement will commence in the following April
- 31st August – funded entitlement will commence in the following September
They are entitled to 15 hours of funded care & education per week.
Pre-school offers the funding entitlement over 38 weeks per year.

Fees are payable each half-term. Regrettably these cannot be refunded for absences due to illness or holiday. Swapping of days between parents is not permitted under the terms of our registration. We
also request that a period of ½ terms notice is given before you decrease your child’s attendance or if your child is expected to move on to either school or another setting or you will be liable for the next ½ terms fees.
Please speak to the manager who will be able to tell you the cost of each session.
Wherever possible, we try to be flexible as far as choice of sessions is concerned.
