Staff

The pre-school employs dedicated staff who have statutory first aid qualification and valid DBS certificates. All staff have gained qualifications in pre-school practice at level 3 & 2. Continual attendance on courses and workshops keeps the groups qualifications and knowledge of ever changing needs is kept up to date.

Staff renew safeguarding training to keep abreast of new legislation, and we have 2 designated safeguarding officers as well as 2 designated Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO).

Caring for and supporting the children at pre-school comes naturally and is often mentioned in the feedback from parents and carers. Staff members having gone on to join the pre-school team after their own children left the setting.
